5. The Trench (Les Enfants Terribles)


I’m just going to reblog an old post of mine about this, because I’ll just repeat myself anyway. Real physical theatre, all in verse, and an aural and visual treat from start to finish. It was eight or nine months ago I saw this (the earliest one in my top five) and I still rave about it. Bloody brilliant.

This will never not be one of the best pieces of theatre I have EVER seen. Incredible acting, stunning visuals, wonderful lighting, amazing puppets, gorgeous music, beautiful sсript. Heartbreaking and uplifting and just fantastic. Not ashamed to say I cried <3
