@темы: stanley spencer, and it's reminded me how much i used to love going to sandham memorial chapel, because he used to live about five miles from where i grew up, even though it's shut for months DAMMIT but it's a lovely walk anyway, good old beacon hill, i'm so glad john reminded me about spencer recently, so there's paintings like this that make me a little homesick frankly, that's enough tags now, will have to wander over there next time i'm home methinks
