hi guys! if you could all help me out then that would be great. i’m currently researching for a paper on young people’s impression of diversity on the london stage when viewing and participating in english renaissance theatre (specifically shakespeare and marlowe), and the old heritage vs progress debate with staging traditional theatre in non-traditional contexts. if you’re between 18-30 and have seen at least one production of english renaissance theatre in london in the past eighteen months, could you spare two minutes and fill out the questions on the next page? it would be much appreciated.
if you want to know more about my research paper or have any questions about the survey, feel free to drop me an ask. this will probably turn into my dissertation for final year if i get enough data, so the more people who can help me out with this, the better.
also: you don’t have to be living in london! even if you only visited london for one day from another country, if you saw a shakespeare or marlowe piece performed, i want to hear from you.
the survey is here. if you could reblog and share this around so more people can see it, i’d really appreciate it. thanks so much guys!
you guys are great, i’ve got some amazing responses so far. it’s so interesting getting to hear what you guys think about traditional theatre conventions in contemporary contexts. i still need to gather some more data though, so if anyone hasn’t filled it in yet - or reblogged it for their potentially interested followers! - please do! thanks lovelies xxx
edit: i should add, if you’ve seen any of the NT live or other assorted theatre broadcasts from london - that counts too. even if you weren’t physically in the theatre. x
Just spreading the word, my dears!
