*EXCLUSIVE* The first official image from series three of #Sherlock, coming soon to BBC One.

"It’s been a long time since Sherlock Holmes jumped off that roof - it’s time to reveal the truth about what happened between him and the pavement" - Steven Moffat.

The question on everyone’s lips will finally be answered when Sherlock returns with three brand new action-packed adventures. How did he do it? And how will John take the news that his best friend faked his own death? What will Sherlock think when he finds out John has fallen in love with Mary Morstan?

The National Theater had 50 years celebration evening that was broadcasted on the BBC tonight. They had scenes from iconic plays with an AMAZING group of actors.

And then this happened.

Dominic Cooper, Andrew Scott, Angels in America.

I actually wept.
Can we have a revival right now please.

I second that request. I’ve barely seen anything about this play but heard good things about it and now I want to see it.

The original The History Boys (2004).

@темы: the history boys, look how young they all are!

shappeybunny:

Bravo! Bravo!

I don’t why, but seeing Alan Bennett on stage performing made me well up. I think it’s the idea that some day there’ll be a world without him in it.

I did a bit too, because that was the first play that really made me feel like a hand had come out and taken mine, and it was so wonderful to see it with so many of the original cast, but so sad for Richard Griffiths to not be there, but then so brilliant to have Alan Bennett there instead, and…it just…wow.

But

I DON’T WANT A WORLD WITHOUT ALAN BENNETT IN IT THAT SOUNDS AWFUL

Yay somebody got up the video of Benedict Cumberbatch performing at the National Theatre 50th Anniversary!

This is very good! I’d love to see the whole play.

This ENTIRE EVENING was the BEST THING <3

I didn’t notice at all on first watch but now I’m having another look…does he remind anyone else of Martin Crieff in this?
